Proposed around the late 1960s - early 1970s by the Kamov Design Bureau, the project of a super-heavy helicopter - a "flying crane" with a five-blade rotary propeller with a diameter of 125 meters, which was driven by a turbojet engine installed above it.
According to calculations, such a super-heavy helicopter could have a take-off weight of about 600 tons and lift various oversized cargo and equipment weighing up to 250 tons on an external sling.
